If there was ever a time to ‘let go and let God,’ now is that time. We all face uncertainty on many levels throughout our lifetime, but in 2024, it is daily…hourly…by the minute! It feels like the entire world is hanging in the balance and that just one slight shift in our solar system could create an unprecedented catastrophe.

Well, the Earth IS Moving Away from the Sun

According to LiveScience.com, the expanse between the earth and the sun is slowly increasing over time. One major reason for this is that the sun is actually shrinking. Because the sun is constantly producing energy, it’s also steadily losing mass. Brian DiGiorgio, an astronomer at the University of California, Santa Cruz, explained it this way:

“The strength of an object's gravitational pull is proportional to how much mass it has. Because the sun is losing mass, its pull on Earth is weakening, leading our planet to drift away from our star by about 2.36 inches (6 centimeters) per year.”

He assures us that there’s no need for a bon voyage party for the sun quite yet, and this weakening pull is negligible (we should have another good 5 billion years or so).  That means it must be something else…

Is It the End of the World as We Know It?

This is a fair question, and many people believe it is. Pew Research polled American adults in late 2022. Thirty-nine percent believe that we are living in the end times. About 47% of Christians believe we are living in the end times. Interestingly, about three-in-ten or fewer people from non-Christian religions (29%) and those with no religious affiliation (23%) say we are living in the end times. Those numbers are staggering, but not surprising. It’s likely those numbers have gone up even higher as 2024 is off to an incredibly tumultuous start.

One could argue that there have been other eras throughout human existence that could have spurred great uncertainty, leading to thinking we were in end times (WWII, the Fall of the Roman Empire, the Disco Era…). However, at no time in our history has the world been so connected to each other in terms of the real-time transfer of news and information (albeit that includes actual ‘disinformation’—not the fake ‘malinformation’ that the leftists don’t like, but the actual echo chamber of the state-run media lies amplified up to eleven!) And, thanks to Elon Musk buying Twitter, the truth is reaching billions!

What is the Major Force Behind this Time of Turmoil?

As mentioned earlier in this article, the insanity of events is moving at an incredible rate. Just since this article was started, more major news has hit the airwaves that continues to escalate the chaos. For instance, we just learned that the old guy playing the part of our president has been exempted from prosecution for mishandling classified documents because he’s an “elderly man with a poor memory”! You read that correctly. Special Counsel Robert Hur has declined to prosecute President Biden for mishandling classified documents, while at the same time acknowledging that Biden is a national security risk because of his senility.  So he’s not fit to be prosecuted, but he’s fit to run our country? It sounds like a Babylon Bee headline! That, in and of itself, could be the main culprit of our current chaos. However, anyone with an IQ higher than that of a pet rock knows Biden isn’t actually running the show. Can you say ‘evil handlers’?

And speaking of ‘handlers,’ we’ve also just been alerted about Jeffrey Toobin (remember the Zoom call scandal of the guy giving himself some self-love with the camera on?)—yeah, THAT guy! Regarding the Supreme Court trial for President Trump, he just posted the following:

“It is a historic disgrace for the Supreme Court that Clarence Thomas is on the bench for today’s argument.”

In what universe does he have the authority to discern what is disgraceful? And, did he just make a racist remark here? Never mind…he’s a Democrat.

But, back to the question at hand—the major force of the troubled times we are living in. There are so many pieces to this puzzle, but they all interconnect. Here is just a short list of all the unprecedented events taking place.

• Border Invasion: Massive amounts of illegals are crossing into the U.S. with funding and assistance from the UN and other NGOs.  Once they cross over into our country, they receive benefits that our own homeless and vets do not receive—shameful and disgusting!
• Ukraine War Funding – Well, the Republicans sold us out again. They have just passed the $95 billion in aid to other countries and $0 for America.

There’s not enough space in this article to include everything because the list just keeps growing and growing at hyper speed. One day, we’ll look back at this time as one of the most ridiculous times of our history, driven by power-hungry, greedy narcissists. But the good news is that patriots are standing up to this tyranny and fighting back. We have a clear advantage—we’ve got God on our side. So, keep the faith, stay strong, and know we will get through this.
